Warranty, Shipping & Returns

Limited Lifetime Product Workmanship Warranty

Pop’s is proud to offer quality products and warrant our products from manufacturer defects for the lifetime of the product. Pop’s Limited Lifetime product Workmanship Warranty applies to all products that are manufactured by Pop’s (“Product”) and applies only to new products sold in their original, sealed packaging purchased from Pop’s or one of Pop’s Authorized Retailers. This warranty covers any manufacturing defect that renders the products unusable and will be covered in such a way that replacement parts and/or full product replacements will be provided to any customer who returns an item due to manufacturer defects. Product warranty and claims are handled by Pop’s warranty department at Warranty@PopsBirding.com

Customer Satisfaction Guarantee

Our 30 Day Satisfaction Guarantee applies to new products sold in their original, sealed packaging purchased from Pop’s or one of Pop’s Authorized Retailers. Any Customer who is not satisfied with their purchase for any reason can return their product within 30 days of purchase to Pop’s or the Authorized Retailer they purchased from. Product Returns are handled by Pop’s Birding Company’s Returns Department at Returns@PopsBirding.com't.

Shipping & Returns

We currently ship to US & Canada and most orders ship within a day. There are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page. Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

Where should I place my swing?

We recommend hanging your swing no more than 1 ft away from a feeder or nectar rich flowering plant, eye level with the food source and away from trees or other competing perching spots

How do I hang the swing?

You can use the included screw hook to hang your swing or hang from any s type hook to hang from a garden pole

Does your nectar contain red dye?

There are no harmful dyes in our nectar. Our formula is clear with no dyes or preservatives. It is a myth that you need to add red dyes to your feeders to attract hummingbirds. The feeder alone will attract your inquisitive hummingbirds and additives such as dyes can be harmful to their diets.

How long does nectar stay fresh?

Our Nectarade shelf life is 2 years when unopened. After opening, if stored in a cool dark area in its original packaging the nectar will stay fresh for weeks (or months when refrigerated). Nectar in a feeder may only stay fresh for a few days depending on how hot it is in your climate.

My “bully” hummingbird chases the other birds away, how can I invite more hummingbirds to my yard?

Try adding a variety of feeders and swings placed far away enough that they are of sight from one another. This is the best way to encourage territorial hummers to get along.

How often should I change my hummingbird nectar?

In especially hot climates you may need to change feeders every 1-2 days. As a best practice, try filling feeders half way full so you can clean and provide fresh nectar more often.

What are some good nectar-rich flowering plants to attract hummingbirds?

Brightly-colored flowers that are tubular hold the most nectar, and are particularly attractive to hummingbirds. These include perennials such as bee balms, columbines, daylilies, and lupines; biennials such as foxgloves and hollyhocks; and many annuals, including cleomes, impatiens, and petunias.at are some good nectar rich flowering plants to attract hummingbirds?
